Loucks worked on two key higher education institutions that are the alma mater of several of our employees, in fact some have some have given back as part-time instructors.

ISELF | Loucks worked closely with the architect and St. Cloud State University to develop a site design for the university’s new $45M ISELF facility. This 102,000-square-foot building is predominantly science laboratories and serves as the flagship facility of the MnSCU science campus. Loucks’ site design dovetailed seamlessly with campus development guiding principles, including a defined campus core, thoughtful hierarchy of open spaces, easy access to South Campus and the Mississippi River, and a holistic approach to parking and transit.

Dunwoody Institute | Loucks developed a masterplan for Dunwoody Institute to maximize parking spaces for over 1,200 vehicles while providing a pedestrian friendly access to the main entrance. A strategically designed parking entrance facilitated a secure student parking area and separate space for visitor parking. This fast-track project required an aggressive design, approval and construction sequence to ensure the newly paved parking facility was completed prior to the start of school in the fall.
