Townhomes
Like many of our townhome projects, St. Anthony Townhomes project gave Loucks an opportunity to demonstrate its multidisciplinary strengths. Loucks played an integral role in the redevelopment of three city blocks at University Avenue and 1st Avenue NE. Scope included site preparation, building demolition of a warehouse and car dealership, relocation of a 16” gas pipeline, and excavation/sorting of more than 20 feet of existing fill material for re-use and/or export. Standard platting, condominium platting and three-dimensional platting were all utilized on the project.
The end result? One block of two-story urban townhomes with rear level garage entry, one twelve-unit executive brownstone townhome with joint underground parking, and one block containing two existing buildings, a new parking ramp and a three-story rental housing building with first-floor retail. Project design emphasized a wide variety of building heights, stairways, doorways, front stoops and plantings to maximize curb appeal.
