Beacon Bluff
Loucks worked with the Saint Paul Port Authority and numerous stakeholders to create an on-site public interpretation that highlights the history and significance of the 3M Corporation and the Saint Paul Main Plant Historic District. The Plaza was developed as an iconic green space within the larger redevelopment known as the Beacon Bluff Next Generation Industrial Campus.
Loucks provided all design and construction administration for the park. Our design efforts incorporated durable materials, some of which were harvested from the prior demolition project, and included a variety of unique materials such as pervious pavers, Corten steel edging, and a variety of stone cobble.
